Old Dog Ranch Family Farm gives to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue

June 01, 2015

Linden, CA, May 12, 2015 — In honor of Sydney’s 16th birthday, Old Dog Ranch Family Farm will donate one dollar from every pound of raw or toasted walnuts sold in the month of June to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.

Old Dog Ranch Family Farm is a 5th generation family farm located in the foothills of San Joaquin County. They farm Chandler Walnuts, and create farm-to-table snacks with organic local ingredients, many of which are grown on their farm.

Old Dog Ranch loves their farm dogs, including Sydney, a now 16 year old pit bull mix. But they realize that not every dog gets to enjoy the farm life – lounging in the sun and chasing squirrels –  and they want to help those who are less fortunate.

Muttville, headquartered in San Francisco, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them new homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

To support Muttville and Old Dog Ranch you can shop at www.olddogranch.com in the month of June, visit one of the Bay Area farmers markets Old Dog Ranch attends, or shop on www.goodeggs.com/olddogranch.

Bay Area Farmers Markets:

Saturday: CUESA Ferry Building Farmers Market and Marin Country Mart Farmers Market.
Sunday: CFMA Mountain View Farmers Market
